Screw foundations are galvanised steel foundations which are eco-friendly, low-impact, stable, and durable. They provide sturdy, lasting support for structures – without a drop of concrete. Rotated directly into the ground, they create an instant, load-bearing anchor point that's faster to install, cleaner on site, and fully reversible at end of life.
We supply and install two types of screw foundations which work differently: ground screws for domestic and light commercial projects, and helical screw piles for larger-scale construction and infrastructure work. Both share the same core principles – engineered steel, no concrete, no curing time – but each is built for a different scale of project.

Screw Foundations UK offers a range of self installation options for both the DIY enthusiast and for trade customers & installers. Our ground screw calculator will help you work out how many ground screws you need for your project.
If you are pushed for time or don’t want to take on the foundation work yourself, we can take the load off by offering nationwide installation service. If your project is subject to building regulations with building control approval, we can offer a commercial installation service which will include compression load testing with a detailed report.

For large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects, our helical screw pile foundations offer higher load capacity backed by certified performance data. Each pile is machine-installed using an excavator fitted with calibrated torque monitoring, so every installation is measured, verified, and recorded against the engineered design.
We carry standard stock sizes from 76R to 140R for rapid dispatch, with bespoke design and manufacturing available for projects with specific load, depth, or configuration requirements. Typical applications include modular buildings, residential houses, bridges and walkways, battery storage and data centres, retaining walls, and underpinning.
