Each ground screw is a galvanised steel shaft with helical blades welded to the lower section.
As the ground screw is rotated into the ground – either by hand using a ratchet tool or with a lightweight machine driver – the blades interlock into the soil and compact it around the shaft. This creates a dense, stable anchor point that resists both vertical pressure and lateral forces.
Once installed, the top of the screw sits above ground level, ready to accept a bracket that connects directly to your timber frame, joist, or post. The whole process is quick, clean, and reversible.
Ground screws are hot-dip galvanised to BS EN 1461:2009 and backed by CE approval and a 20-year product guarantee. They’re built to last – and if your plans change down the line, they can be removed and even relocated. Try doing that with a concrete slab!
